BOURGUEIL ♦ SAINT NICOLAS DE BOURGUEIL ♦ CHINON ♦ SAUMUR CHAMPIGNY

A vineyard on each renowned territory.

We are lucky to have the whole range of the different soils, called « terroir », that exist for each appellation : sand, gravelly or pebbly soil, siliceous clay, limestone clay and pure limestone. These soils give to our cuvées their characteristics and typicality.

Situated at the confluence of the Loire and Vienne rivers, the vineyard stretches over land belonging to the town of Savigny en Veron. The soil here is unique, composed of rich silty sand, producing  fleshy and ample wines which distinguish them easily from the different Chinon wines. The vineyards average age is of 35 years and the yield between 45 and 55 hectolitres per hectare.
